- 1 tbsp biryani masala
- as per taste Salt
- 1/2 cup milk with saffron

- Heat oil and ghee in a kadhai. Add cumin seeds and the garam masala, saute till there is an aroma.
- Add chopped onion, bay leaf, garlic, green chilli and ginger. Add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
- Mix fried aloo, parwal and chopped tomatoes. Also, add the biryani masala.Cook till tomatoes are softened.
- Add the rice to the masala and mix well till all the rice is coated with the masala.
- Garnish with birista and saffron milk. The tasty biryani is ready to serve.
